We bought an existing home in Cannon Beach and decided to remodel and add on to it. During that process, Coaster Construction was taking up the old flooring and discovered several issues which ultimately led us demolishing that home (shocker) and building a new one. Coaster could not have been easier to work with. They assisted us in deciding what type of home to build on our lot, allowing us to view progress in other Coaster Construction homes both finished and under construction, which was very helpful. They also introduced us to the person who would become our interior designer.
We were anxious, understandable, but Coaster had wonderful employees as well as excellent subs and our home was completed the summer of 2018. Any suggestions, questions or problems we had were quickly and efficiently dealt with by competent, cooperative, skilled craftsmen and office personnel. Items ordered arrived in a timely fashion, the timeline was followed as closely as possible and any issues that arose during construction were solved promptly. The project supervisor, Joel Nelson, was very responsive and didn't hesitate to call in experts when warranted. The end result is a truly beautiful home built by a company which is proficient not only in construction but also in managing relationships with owners, city and county personnel and occasionally crisis management (and we definitely had some small crises but they were handled beautifully).
We are delighted with our beach home and happy to have such a positive experience. We count ourselves lucky to have selected Coaster Construction when deciding on a contractor. We are very proud of the home they helped create for us, our children and grandchildren to enjoy for many years to come.
